Travel back to the musical memories of driving rock-and-roll and the melodies of yesterday's classic hits …

ONE NIGHT STAND is Kansas City's premiere classic rock band.  With distinctive vocals & instrumentation, the band emulates music from the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, including Aerosmith, Stevie Wonder, the Doobie Brothers, Foreigner, the Eagles, Chicago, and many others!

ONE NIGHT STAND — the band…the music…the memories…

Originally the band got its name when it formed 10 years ago to perform for one night and then planned to disband, but the requests kept coming and the band kept playing for private parties and corporate events.  ONE NIGHT STAND has been playing one night at a time ever since.

In the fall of 1997 Mike Dunne and other Hallmark Executives decided to form a band to perform and to fill one of the largest dance halls in the Kansas City area with an audience that wanted to dance to the classic rock they grew up with years ago.  The Doobie Brothers, Aerosmith, the Eagles, Chicago, Foreigner, Stevie Wonder, the Beatles, etc.  The band that evening included Mike Dunne (lead guitar and vocals), Tim Plumb (vocals and band manager), Gery Illgner (keyboards and vocals), Jeff Zande (drums), Bobby Bryant (bass), and Mark Amren (guitar and vocals).  They were joined on stage by numerous guest musicians and singers, including The Pointless Sisters, more than one Elvis, and Sonnie & Cher.  Playing the classics, Play that Funky Music, Mustang Sally, Twist and Shout, Johnny B Goode, Listen to the Music, etc, ... ONE NIGHT STAND was overwhelmed with requests and kept on playing late into the night, ... and the band is still performing 10 years later.

Whether playing for private parties, New Year's Eve Celebrations, Halloween Parties, Husker Pep Rallies in Westport before the game at Arrowhead, corporate events, ... ONE NIGHT STAND gigs take you back to the driving rock-and-roll and the melodies of yesterday's classic hits …
